Leveraging best practices from the manufacturing industry, modular construction is redefining how large-scale commercial, multi-family residential and hospitality projects are built, bringing progress to an industry that has not seen significant technological advances since the introduction of drywall more than 100 years ago.
In addition to meeting all applicable national, provincial and municipal building codes, modules constructed in a factory are subject to rigorous internal and third-party inspection. These regulated processes produce buildings that are quieter and of higher quality than their site-built competitors.
We prefabricate modules and prepare sites for installation simultaneously, allowing us to complete projects for our clients up to 50% faster than conventional site-built construction, all while adhering to contractual delivery schedules and pricing.
The benefits of modular construction are:
- Firm Price
- Firm Delivery Schedules
- Reduced Waste
- Better Customer Experience
- Better Quality
Your car wasn’t built the way it was 100 years ago, why should your construction project?

Complying with your needs
When it comes to commercial projects, we pride ourselves in the ability to meet all applicable building codes, comply with brand standards, and any other customer specifications as required.
Horizon North’s modular construction process delivers superior quality results every time. Our internal quality control and quality assurance procedures include third-party inspections, so every structure exceeds industry standards.
How we build
The modules are manufactured in a controlled factory environment, then transported and delivered to their intended site, set on the foundation footprint by use of a crane, and joined together to make one integrated building. Once the modules are assembled onsite and the integration is complete, the structure is virtual indistinguishable from those built by conventional construction methods.
Our Manufacturing Facilities
With over 200,000 sq ft of manufacturing capacity at our facilities, Horizon North is capable of taking on projects of unlimited scale and complexity.
