Job Description The Electrician Foreman involves supervision and participation in the planning and installation of the electrical components of constructed and/or assembled temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structured fixtures. 
Responsibilities • Supervise and participate in the planning, lay out, and installation of all electrical requirements of newly constructed or repaired and assembly of temporary and permanent buildings, additions, partitions and wood structures and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Plan and schedule work for the group ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
• Estimates time, cost and amount and type of electrical and supplies required for projects; requisition electrical supplies and components as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, instructions and applicable provincial, federal, and local codes; direct any rework or modification. Conduct periodic inspections of buildings electrical to determine repair needs; establish and coordinate preventive rules and work practices to reduce and eliminate repair and maintenance.  Complete Job Hazards Assessments and Accident and Incident reports. Attend Tool Box meetings to ensure understanding of work expectations and goals.  Communicate information to crewmembers on daily, weekly and monthly task.  Monitor apprentices in the field of Electrical and record their work for the board.
• Accountable and responsible for the quality of the electrical in all manufactured product to ensure it meets all company or contract standards with recommendations for improvements where needed.
Qualifications Journeyman Electrician certification with 5 years of practical work experience. Have achieved or willing to acquire Masters Electrician Certification.
