Our country is consistently ranked at or near the top of the best countries in the world for quality of life. Yet, we are in the midst of an affordable housing crisis – each year, 235,000 Canadians experience homelessness, facing daily the possibility of no place to call home.
Horizon North believes we can’t sit idly by. There needs to be a solution, and we believe we have a role to play in solving the challenges posed by a lack of affordable housing. By building structures that provide housing for the homeless, students, seniors or others impacted, we are doing our part in solving this social crisis.
When people have a home and a healthy environment where their basic needs are met, it provides the stability they need for ‘A Fresh Start’.
